The AV58M is manufactured by Siko, and is an absolute rotary encoder that has a teach-in function. The measurement range can be adjusted with the use of two buttons located at the rear of the unit, and as well as two external inputs. The model has a resolution of 12 bit over the measuring range. The analog output of the unit ranges betwen 0 V to 10 V and 4 mA to 20 mA.
